You can often use a voucher with a retailer's loyalty card or offer, but the retailer sets the rules.

## What to check

Read the retailer's terms before buying. Loyalty points, sale prices and cashback offers may each have different rules about gift-card payments.

Do not assume that a cashback offer applies just because the retailer accepts the voucher.

If you are unsure whether a particular offer works with gift cards, ask the retailer or offer provider before buying your voucher.
